"Boreas"
the adventures of life

Borea

Borea is a small and very agile female.

She is a little more reserved, but once she knows and trusts the people and dogs around her, she is always ready to have fun.

In the show ring, she has demonstrated her true potential.

She has a well balanced, square build and, at 43 cm, is very close to the ideal size according to the Italian breed standard.

Her father is a true Italian, whose influence can also be seen in Borea’s still very dark coat.

She is neutral towards unfamiliar dogs and prefers to avoid any kind of conflict.

A wonderful, eager to work female with great potential in the show ring.

Our Studdog

Heros is an independent, strong-willed male dog with a great "will to please" and a strong work ethic, especially in scent work (truffle hunting). He is always motivated to learn and explore new things, and is alert, curious, and spirited.

In everyday life, he is friendly towards people, including children, occasionally a bit pushy, and confident in his interactions with other dogs. He is well-suited to daily life, shows no hunting instinct, and is both attentive and alert.

Overall, Heros is a hardworking male dog with plenty of energy and a love of shared activities, combining independence with a willingness to cooperate. His charmingly cheeky nature makes him unforgettable.

19 "On the 19th day, the germinal vesicles (so-called blastocytes) implant in the uterine wall.
20 These form embryonic vesicles. From day 21 onwards, many bitches secrete a viscous, clear mucus. This is the clearest sign that the mating was successful."

61 "Now measure the bitch's temperature morning and evening. Normal temperature varies between 37.5 and 39.4 degrees Celsius, depending on the breed and age of the bitch. Because of this wide range, it is important to know her normal body temperature (measurements from week 7). If the temperature drops by approximately 1.5 to 2 degrees Celsius, the puppies will be born within the next 6-24 hours."
62 "The dog may seem unhappy, restless, constantly pacing back and forth"

"The predicted day of birth. Many bitches give birth between the 58th and 63rd day."
Some puppies may wait until day 66. Observe your dog very closely, especially if she is overdue. Foul-smelling, dark discharge is a warning sign; consult your veterinarian immediately. A veterinarian must be consulted by day 66 at the latest. There could be birthing problems such as puppies that are too large or stillborn. In such cases, only quick action can save the lives of both mother and puppies.
